| Misti is a 1998 graduate of North Georgia
College in Dahlonega, Georgia. She holds a degree in Exercise
Science and is a Personal Trainer at Athens Personal Fitness. Misti and Lisa first met
in college where they became close friends and began singing together with
the Baptist Student Union Praise Team. Misti was born and raised in
Pendergrass, Georgia and was fortunate enough to be raised in a Christian
home with Godly parents. She also had a pastor who loved his church
and preached the blood of Jesus and the true Gospel message. It was
through his leadership and prayers of her family that she was saved at the
age of 8 years old. "For as long as I can remember I have had
the desire to sing. I began to sing in church and I always tried to
remember for whom I was singing. I always tried to follow Gods will
for my life though at times I had to try my own way; but God always let me
draw back close to him and I never lost my desire to please him through
song." After college, God opened up the doors for Misti to sing
with the Threads of Hope. It is here where she met Scott, the lead
guitarist, who a short time later would become her husband. God has
greatly blessed both Scott and Misti, and they are very thankful for the
opportunity to give Him praise and glory through music and song.
Scott and Misti are faithful members of Hope Baptist Church where they are
involved in the music program.
