Life Verse:  Philippians 1:20
"According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death."
Scott is a 1994 graduate of Hope Christian Academy and is a trained Control Electrician.  He was born in Athens and was raised in a Christian home where his family attended church faithfully.  Scott was saved at an early age, but as a teenager he strayed away from God and his upbringing.  "I knew what I was doing was wrong and shameful to my Lord, but Satan paints such a pretty picture of this world with his neon signs and his eye catching logos that it makes it so easy to fall into his trap."  After rededicating his life to Christ, Scott joined the Threads of Hope as the lead guitarist.  It is here where he first met Misti, who a short time later would become his wife.  God has greatly blessed both Scott and Misti, and they are very thankful for the opportunity to give Him praise and glory through music and song.  Scott and Misti are faithful members of Hope Baptist Church where they are involved in the music program.

"By His loving grace and mercy He saw me through difficult times."
