FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Threads of Hope?
Based out of Boston, Threads of Hope is a community using the sales of gently worn clothing to raise funds to find reassurance, strength, and ultimately the cures for many epidemics we face on Mother Earth.
How does it work?
You clean out your closet and send us the clothes you no longer want. We take those clothes, resell them, and a portion of those sales gets donated to a worthy cause. The charities will rotate each month, so we can help as many people as possible. If there are clothing donations that we cannot use, we will donate those to another organization.
There is a charge of $1 per pound of clothing being donated. For example, if you donate 10 pounds of clothes, there is a charge of $10. That will go towards the monthly proceeds donated to charity. If you are having the Wardrobe Revamp or Closet Overhaul done, this charge is waived for any donated clothes!
How much is shipping?
All orders will have a flat shipping rate of $8.00 per order. All orders over $200.00 will include free shipping!
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. However, we want to ensure our customers have a great experience. If the item(s) you purchased are not as described within the listing, you may contact us via email at threadsofhope617gmail.com, and we will instruct you how to return.
Is Threads of Hope on social media?
Yes! We are on Facebook (@threadsofhope617) and Instagram (threadshope). We are always posting items up for sale and videos of a whole range of topics!
